Your photographs must be:
- 2x2 inches in size
- Identical
- Taken within the past 6 months, showing current
appearance
- Color or black and white
- Full face, front view with a plain white or
off-white background
- Between 1 inch and 1 3/8 inches from the bottom of
the chin to the top of the head
- Taken in normal street attire
- Uniforms should not be worn in photographs
except religious attire that is worn daily.
- Do not wear a hat or headgear that
obscures the hair or hairline.
- If you normally wear prescription glasses, a
hearing device, wig or similar articles, they should be worn for your
picture.
- Dark glasses or nonprescription glasses with
tinted lenses are not acceptable unless you need them for medical
reasons. A medical certificate may be required.
NOTE: Vending machine photos are not generally
acceptable

customers located near them. Even though most ASCs provide the same
services, if you need an ASC, please use the one nearest you.

that you filed, you have moved, or you are in need of other services, the
National Customer Service Center offers a variety of Case Services for a
case that is pending or completed.

offer live assistance for information and assistance on Case Services.
Please note: Application
Support Centers do not directly provide Case Services assistance that is
related to the status of applications or other associated services.

- OFFICE HOURS:
This office provides
services to the general public by appointment from 8:00AM to 4:00PM, Monday
through Friday.
This office provides services to military
personnel from 9:00AM to 3:00PM, Monday through Friday. Military personnel
do not need an appointment.

- Case Services
- The only after filing service that is provided
by an ASC is fingerprinting. Fingerprinting services are by appointment only
and are related to an application for an immigration benefit.
You will be notified about an ASC appointment by mail. You should follow the
instructions on the appointment notice to reschedule the appointment.
